I don't see why Google would want to discriminate against the ghosts. They are good law abiding citizens not of this world.

How on earth would Google know whether a post is from a ghostwriter or not?

As long as the articles are unique - as you say they are - then there will be no problems here. Google can't tell who wrote an article, just whether it's been written before

This is the "dirty little secret" nobody talks about.

While other people may joke around and say things about "ghosts" or that "Google can't tell if something is ghostwritten", I would much rather keep you on the right track...especially considering the importance of this day.

    YES

    YES

YES!!!!! Google will penalize a site that has UNIQUE blog posts that were ghost written, but they will penalize you less if it's un-unique content that was orignally written by a ghostwriter, unless the non-unique posts are non-blog posts, in which case it would depend if you are trying to rank for articles or straight content.

If it's the latter, then you need to be careful about who is doing the unique writing. You should hire a ghostwriter that understands how to go undetected by Google's "ghostwriting scrutinizing team." If it's the former, then you don't have to get the straight content written by a non-detectable ghostwriter, but you should at least get a ghostwriter who can write the right content.

Another thing you should watch out for is the monthly ghostwriting algorithm change. It just so happens that Google has just updated their ghostwriting detection aspect ratio because it's the first of the month. You do NOT want to fool around with Google!

    All the best,
    Michael

The problem with Ghost writers is they can take a huge amount of your adsense income and you have no way of knowing it.

However you can set up a Google alert which will let you know when there is a Ghost magnetic insertion into your adsense. It should be noted that Google may throw a Google Ghost, into your site which can actually give a you a boost in your rankings.

Google Ghost? Anything that gives you a SE boost should be called an Angel!

  • While crawling Google will only consider issues like quality of your content and whether that is unique or copied from elsewhere etc. Who has written the post won't be a big issue! So don't worry.

    Emm... Quite an amusing question.
Google never ever penalize a writer who abides Google guidelines.
