Any Sniper site's deindexed ?

Hi there guys,

I have been kind of looking into IM for a while now, but never really looking. Always bought a load of BS that got me nowhere. So after going through George Brown's Google Sniper 2.0 I must say I was very impressed. Yes I am a newbie...

I wanted to start making my own sites, but the last week I have been looking around on WF and learned quite a lot! But what bothers me (and probably most of you) is Panda and deindexing of sites.

Now my question is, how many Sniper Site's that you guys know of has been deindexed? Or is it only Adsense and Auto blogs that get deindexed? Or is it only people who used, I think it's called, BMT?

Because I still see some sniper site's out there. But micro blogs are being targeted. Now how does a newbie go to work to start making money online?

Thanks guys

If my understanding of (sniper sites) is the same as yours then I believe that it is a extremely good thing that Google is the indexing these sites as they involve what I consider shady tactics. As long as you're honest, straightforward, and on the up and up with your SEO tactics you should not have a problem.

As for as understanding some fundamentals surrounding onsite SEO I would recommend the free training at affilorama.com

As far as off page SEO I would recommend distributing your content to document sharing sites for back links.

As far as making money I'd highly recommend CPA offers opposed to Clickbank until you get a little bit of experience under your belt.

And the most important thing that I can tell you is to not jump thing to thing. In other words, you can do many different tactics but do not quit one until you find something that works for you. So it is up to you how many things you have on your plate but do not feed any of your food to the dog.

This for you Good is. I this believe.

CPA is Adsense, right? But isn't adsense micro sites being deindexed? I am just asking as I don't want to spend the money and then nothing comes from it. Also thanks for reminding me about Affilorama again, never really started watching the videos there. Will definitely look into that again, thank you

Ahh, hard to see the dark side is...

I flopped a few sniper sites myself, might build a few more because they're pretty easy to set up. All in the SEO...consuming time this is.

Okay, enough yoda...Yes and no with Adsense...while it is CPA per se, it doesn't pay very well. The only people I know that do well with adsense are blackhat folks (dark side) but I'm assuming you're going to play "fair."

Anyway, for CPA I'd look for offers at OfferVault, or sign up with AdAngler (I use them).

Or, if Amazon permits you, snipe one of their hot products (if you can target the right keyword of course) (ipad3 anyone?) and sell that. I can't because my state's ghey and doesn't allow Amazon affiliates.

Def stay away from CB offers unless you got some cash to spare...you can target a launch coming up in 3-6 months and do a sniper "review" site...that has a lot of comp though and you'll sink or swim. JVnotifypro is a place you can find launches, and clickbanklaunchforum is another.

Hope this helps, pm me if you need help. I'm glad to help warriors however I can.

    Thanks for your reply!

Sorry for taking so long to reply, place got revamped. I don't have major bucks, but I am willing to learn. Been trying to figure IM out, but the more I figure out, the more I get confused.

Wish someone could take me under their arm.

*Wonder why isn't there a person who helps you at the beginning and then from then on you give him a little commission for the rest of your IM career, seeing as I only figured out now that Sniper sites are "dark side" (what's the light side then?) and CB products are out...

For what it's worth, I did not see much success with CB until I started selling amazon stuff. The advice give to you is sound, stay focused on one area of IM and figure that out and then move to other things. Trying to do too many things will only confuse and frustrate you, at least that is what happened to me. Just do not quit whatever you do!

Thanx Bond Girl! Think my first step is to find out where to start first! And I wonder if Amazon.com does pay out to affiliates from the South of Africa, as Dudeman said his state doesn't want to pay out or something.

On the Spiner Site Deindexed side, I see more and more people saying their site's being deindexed...

I started IM about 1.5 year ago. Started with CB products didnt have much success as was not able to rank the site on the 1st page of big G. Went through Sandboxes, mind conjured earthquakes and tornadoes and finally after one year started making some money. And just when things started looking up , Panda shows up. It's time to tame the Panda now!

Honestly, these days I would rather focus my efforts on building (mini)-authority websites. Something more than 3 pages. I think this will work best in the long run.

You could target many long-tail keywords this way... Instead of buying seperate domain names for each of these long tail keywords, you're better off if you just stick to one website and write a new post for all your long tail keywords.

Then you can slowly start building some quality backlinks to each post and in the long run you'll be better off than all these small, niche websites.

Google wants to see more authoritive websites nowadays, instead of thin, 3 page websites! If you focus on growing your website, then you will reap the fruits of your efforts later... In a year or so, your website will increase in pagerank, backlinks and outrank all these other small, little value websites out there!!

I think building the sites out a bit, and effectively creating authority sites is the way forward. You can do this with those existing Sniper sites that have traditionally done well. If they have made money for you in past - then build them out a bit more as authority sites etc. While those around you fall in the rankings ...

    Hi,

what is exactly a sniper site?
Is this a one product page with no sidebar, (only one page) with a long product review to make money as affiliate, and nothing other content as the product review?

    best wishes

First time I heard about Sniper sites are a small site, by George Brown's Google Sniper 2.0. It has about 4 or 5 pages. But right now I am on information overload and wish I could get a mentor to help me...
