How long does it take to get me ranked in Google?

I have a new site that has very low competition, only 2 sites on the first page have the exact kw in the title and even they have no other on-page seo or many back-links. I have EMD.

The query for the kw is about 22k in a month. The site is old for about week and a half. It got indexed with SB in a day and landed on a spot 15 then after couple of days I don't see it anymore in top 1000. I have made about 15 back-links to it.

How long could it take to get it back ranking? The competition is almost non existant. I have heard guys ranking their pages with low competition in a week..
#google #long #low competition #ranked

Tough to say. It is possible to get an EMD into the top 10 within a week, but not too likely. It just depends on the competition, backlinks needed, PR of the competition, and the backlinks you are building to try to get up there.

It could take years or days It all matters on how competitive the market your trying to get into... For instance, if your trying to go into the "make money online" market, that is soooooooo competitive, it could take 2 to 3 years to rank in google assuming you have a good domain, great content, and continually backlinking your site... Orrrr you could target less competitive markets that have less than 100,000 competing pages and if you're able to get an exact match domain = .com, .org, .net - then you can rank in 5 days to 2 weeks max...

Higher authority links will reduce this random change in rankings that happens.

Keep adding content and getting backlinks. Quality backlinks such as articles are great but get any backlinks you can find. Part of the algorithm in calculating your page rank is how many websites are linking in. Link to pages that are legit and have great content themselves. Nofollow, dofollow, who cares? Take your backlink and put it where people will see it.

Add MORE content. 20-30 new pages, each article at least 1000 unique words.

    just sayin.

It can take 3-6 weeks for some keywords. Depends on the content on your page, your on page SEO quality and the authority of the other pages on page 1. Your also going to have to step up your link building quite a bit. Either get some high authority links, pr3+ for example or start building web 2.0s and then lower quality links to your web 2.0s to boost their authority. Believe it or not, this will really help boost your sites authority. The fact is, one good link is work a few hundred crappy links these days.

Keep adding more backlinks. Do not over do! 20 - 40 a day is okay.
Keep adding backlinks to your backlinks. Do not over do! 20 - 40 a day is okay.
Keep adding unique content. Do not over do! A new 500 - 1000 unique article each 2 - 3 days.

Like what everone said, these will help you a lot. My site is 2 months old in a niche that is reletively competitive. My site is about high blood pressure and I'm on the second page of google now for this keyword. I have about 40 pages on my site and it's growing.

    Here is my link building stratergy;
    -social bookmarking
    -tweet daily
-create a Facebook page and share links from your site
    -submit your site to directories
-comment on high PR blogs (make meaningful comments)

Remember your anchor text should include your keyword. Hope this helps

Social bookmarking your money sites? Or, articles that point to your money sites? If both please explain why. I have been very curious about this.

You need to generate a list of keywords and keyword phrases that best describe the types of searches that your target audience will be typing into Google.

Yeah most definitely you are in Google dance. the best thing is continue to do what you are doing. But here is the thing you want to keep in mind ... whatever you are doing now you have to keep doing it because if you drop off you may be sandboxed ...

so before you embark on any back link campaign ask yourself this question ... can I able to keep this up always? If you have any back link campaign you really must do something about it at least once a month.

What do you base that on? Are you saying that if you have a site which you no longer build backlinks to then if a competitor builds backlinks to it then you'd have to keep building links to it every month from then to avoid it being sandboxed. That doesn't sound right.

There is no guarantee or set date, all you can do is continue to build consistent quality links to your site and am sure it will work out fine sooner.

I have a few sites HowtothrowaKnife.net (search 2,500 mth with, Low), NuskinScam.net ( Nuskin is search 1000 and nu skin 750) both low. They come up on the first page when searched exact KW. and Buychoffy.net (search 600 low with keyword of "Choffy") on all the sites came up on the on the first page for a week or two then disappeared for about 10 days, then came back to the first page a few, a few places higher. I have Juice-Diet.net (search around 12,000 low)
been up for about 2 months, "Juice Diet" hasn't ranked in google yet. but is on page 6 with yahoo. From what I found online that is that there 2 types of google spiders one searches new content, for news. and the other for regular sites. when your site comes up quick, its the news spiders, then when the regular spiders make their rounds then you site gets rank again.

Google does that... A lot of times you'll be on the first page and then disappear... It's frustrating for sure.

Since you're newly associated with that keyword, and with a new domain, there's no telling what Google will do with you.

Like others said, it's the Google dance. Also, build relevant backlinks, as was already suggested.
