I am a newbie to the world of seo, but all the rules that I'm studying seem to be wrong if I see the results!
here are data in an attachment.
how is it possible that the site is in the third column is before the others?

    It happens. remember. Links are not everything. SEO is a vast thing with thousands of factors. so stop thinking about these! and do the good job only
  • Even in link, the quality of links matters. Getting hundreds of irrelevant backlinks is less valued by search engines than a single link which is relevant and having a lot of backlinks for itself.
  • Because you are showing 9 different sources of information on each website, the search engines use literally hundreds of different variables when choosing where each page should be ranked.
  • I show you only the domain data.
    The other are about the same proportion!
    I know that quality is the most important factor, but the site in the third column has very little value!

  • Firstly you are looking at Moz rank factors, this is their take on different sites and NOT Googles. Also this is only looking at the domain as a whole, if you actually look at the anchor text pointing to this site this will tell you if they are targetting certain keywords.
  • Google is just an algorithm which is nowhere near perfect. (but still a lot better than other search engines)

  • No one really knows how Google works and they don't reveal much of it.

    But, there's no doubt about one things - content is, and will always be king.

    Good, quality, unique content tramples everything else.

    All the new Google changes favor the quality content and slapping micro-niche sites with poor content.

      Sorry but my opinion is that Google didn't know what is quality.
      I just finished to analyzed the backlinks of one of my competitor and what i see is only dirty stuff, nothing about quality!

      I'm a newbie about seo, but I have been working in internet for 12 years, and now i'm studying hard seo because is the only way to make money with internet. But what I'm seeing is like a game to find how to find the right trick... I'm speaking to be the first, second ecc... to from the 4 position and less probably quality content is ok... i still don't know...

      Sorry about that but I'm just discover with these data that i won't arrive at first position, so I'm a little bit frustrated
  • In Ranking only backlinks are not important there are hundreds of other factors are affecting and no one knows how google really works..all are assumption...lolz but the it's hard to accept but doing SEO of site is like Shooting arrow in Dark. Some times we got crazy result and some time better than our expectation. Try other analysis tools and find all affecting factors.

    • it's hard for me to say, but in my opinion I have to admit that Bing works in a more logical way. But nobody knows, so, as you just told me, I will try to shot in the dark!
      But for me, that I'm a programmer, everything that doesn't follow a logic way it's sound strange
