2 Of My Auto Blogs Went Up The SE - LOL

Hiya,

I was checking my rankings for my blogs and was surprised to see 2 of my auto blogs return form "the abyss" and landed themselves on page 1 for their KWs

The even funnier thing is now one of them has a PR1

Just wondering if anyone else has seen some strange SE results lately, especially given the panda update

Well, this proves that google isn't perfect and can't literally keep track of every single website out there. And yes, there are still a lot of auto blogs which are ranking great for their respective keywords.

    Emma,

I'm happy for you for the moment. But I can't wait until the days when every spam-filled auto blog out there is canned by Google for good.

Not saying yours *is* one of those... but just sayin'.

Actually they are returning relevant material to the niche and making me some $

I only own 2 and they were experiments

I have been watching and tracking their movements for about a year now and it is really interesting to see what happens to them with each Google update

That's interesting... have you tried logging out of
your Google account and checking it?

Sometimes your own sites will show up on page 1
    when you're logged in.

Also... what kind of experiments did you run on them,
if you would be so kind to share?

Funny you should say that, I saw a WSO video training recently where the guy was showing his sites on page 1 proving his system worked and, not only could you see he was logged in, he had "personally 'liked' (or whatever) them using G+" and had personal preferences turned on.

      Gotta laugh, really.

        Totally Valid point right here!!!

I see this all the time when warriors are trying to prove rankings they are logged into gmail and it shows skewed rankings - always!!!

But, to answer the question, I ALWAYS private browse and I check rankings with software, so yes they are TRUE rankings

Plus now the extra $ coming in from adsense and cbank from earnings is these niches

        Good point to raise tho

I had a one page site that landed first page too recently. Seeing the adsense earnings from this, I decided to add about 100 pages of autoblog content and sure enough, the adsense income went up.

Do you mind me asking what you're using for your autoblog? WP Robot? Are you doing anything special with them other than the basic scraping, etc?

I've got an autoblog pretty much sat at number#1 for a decent keyword. it's got over 7k pages, I bought it on flippa, it cost alot for an autoblog but I'm saving it to develop in the future.

Initially it dropped a bit last year when they released the updates but it came back, it's got links from the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal so I'm not suprised!

What I did was turn off the auto-posting and noticed the site has benefited although the subscribers have dropped. What I've done is just stuck a guest post banner on the homepage and people just log in and submit there own material.
