Manual blog commenting on moderated sites - your "name" is the anchor text. How effective?
- SEO |
I don't usually do blog commenting on moderated sites (I sometimes do on AA - auto approval- sites) but I'm thinking about starting it.
However on those sites you can't really use your keyword as an anchor text. Most site owners would think of those comments as spams. So usually you put your name(maybe a fake name), right?
From a SEO's perspective, how effective would that be? The link will come from related sites if you choose carefully, and maybe on some high PR sites. But Keyword is just your name.
I assume it still helps to a certain extent, but how much is my question. Is it better to just focus on other things?
