    You should try Piwik its free and works great. But you need to install it on your server.

    I personally use Piwik as well.
    The less info Google has on my sites the better as far as I am concerned.

    To everyone who is suggesting Piwik, you should beware that Google can still track you if you don't vary accounts between each site.

    Even though it's not quite as bad as Google analytics, where the information is going directly to the big G, any manual reviewer can still look at the source code and see your unique ID and find all sites sharing that ID.

    I personally use StatCounter and GetClicky as my GA alternatives of choice (both of which have easy to use wordpress plugins), and I have an excel file to keep track of each website's analytics account info.

      I highly recommend Statcounter as an alternative to GWT.
      It's a nice tool, easy to use and gives me plenty of web traffic data.
