Last page of rankings?

What does it mean if my current pages are located in last page of Google rankings for certain keywords?

Just a side note, I published a new article last night and it in the top 100 for the keyword I am targeting at the moment.

How can I get the rankings back for my other pages?

My webmaster tools shows no messages of link penalties or anything.

Means one of two thing:

1. Your page is doing a Google dance.

2. You need to work on getting more good quality backlinks.

Continue to build links to the pages that are not doing so well. Publish content on the site regularly. It sounds like you are in the middle of a dance. How old is your site? How many links do you build per month?
