Duplicate Content Problems

Guys, I have made 3 to 4 geographical pages for my site, so if I put same content in each one of them, will Google consider it as Duplicate content ?

    I recently led a geo-spec strategy on an ecommerce site - it was around 160 location pages. I found the best way to ensure all content was original was to outsource each piece of content individually. Paid roughly £6 per article. It worked, and we're now recognised by the Panda 3.3 Local results.
  • Try to make it as unique as possible. At the minimum a unique sentence per page, and meta data for your images.
  • I believe if same content is posted in 3 to 4 pages it would be considered as duplicate content. Try targeting one to 2 keyword for each page and then build unique content for each of the page with ur targeted keywords. what is the point making your own site pages compete against each other.

    • If you are taking this content from already published website then obviously it is duplicate content and Google can penalize your website somehow. The solution is only to create unique content to publish in the website.

      They hear duplicate content, and just cargo on nonsense.

      What you are proposing to do is called, "not reinventing
      the wheel," and is done by very large, authoritative
      websites.

  • If you have a same content on on different pages then you can apply canonical tag on those pages which has duplicate content, then the chances of getting penalized is low, but it is always recommended to avoid duplicate content on any website, Google algorithm is very strict on duplicate content issue so it's better to avoid which will help not to face any issue.
