Where are you looking to republish the content? I would first publish the article on my site before submitting to any article directories. Are you scraping the content from ezine articles?

Shouldn't be a problme as you also mix in some unique content from yourself. Thats what Ezines is for right, so people can get their content syndicated. Don't forget to leave the link back to the author intact, that's the only rule you have to follow. I don't think Adsense will care as you have enough unique content as well.

My rule of thumb would be (not that I do it but I do plan to do so) is to have 1 unique article for each 5 syndicated articles.

Why do people mix this stuff up all the time?

Google does not hate duplicate content.

That's what ezinearticles is for. To get you free
      content.

Doesn't EZA have an adsense account? Wouldn't they
tell you NOT to republish the stuff because they want
to save their adsense account? EZA is FULL of duplicate
      content.

Google tells you only one thing about republishing articles.
Do not make a habit of it. That is, if you have 100 articles
total, and 99 are EZA, then that's not a great website.
All you are doing is just giving people stuff that's readily
found elsewhere. EZA is actually a pretty good way of
getting ideas, or even just grabbing the article for something
      quick and temporary.

Nothing against adsense policy on that. Lousy websites
are not against adsense TOS, as lousy is in the eye
of the beholder. But they may disable it if they feel
your site is nothing more than a site that republishes
EZA articles. But they would do the same thing if your
site is nothing more than a bunch of youtube videos.

What people fail to quote from google on this, is
that they add a sentence or two saying that if
you do it in a useful and unique way, no problem.

Republishing articles is what the internet seems to do
best. Things go viral every day. Just don't do it to
      the extreme on one website.

To be honest, I have yet to find one EZA article worth
republishing. It's full of junk. What I have done, is spin
and add something decent to fill it out into a good
article. That's what I would really recommend people do
if they are thinking about any article site.

But if you happen to find a good article for your site,
      use it!
