Revolution theme + adsense

I've seen several wso for sites with revolution theme. Besides being a premium theme whats the benefit of using this theme or any premium theme? Do they help increase adsense clicks? affiliate commissions?

Not really, they just look "nicer" than the average free themes. But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Pretty sites usually do poorly with Adsense. Ugly, aka plain, sites usually do rather well with Adsense.

Revolution is good for a flagship blog or a blog you want to flip. Lots of 'curb appeal'.
