    A good choice would be the plugin "google-analytics-for-wordpress". Once you install the plugin and you verify your google account, it automatically pulls in your analytics code and installs it for you.

    Depending on the wordpress theme you are using, some themes provide an option for you to copy and paste the google analytics code and you are set to go.
