Quick Adsense question

Hey, this is probably a dumb question, but I can't find the answer anywhere.

I have a site with about 40 pages. I have been putting Adsese on most of the pages. I've noticed my Adsense "My Ads" page is littered with ads, literaly pages and pages of them.
So I was wondering, can I just make generic ads, say a 300x250 generice ad unit, and post it to each page, and have it use content from that page, so it is unique ads each page, or will it post the same ads on all pages I have that source code on?

  • You can place one adsense code to all pages of your website and also in all of your websites without facing any problem. If you like, you can insert one code in each page but its useless and you just waste your time All webmasters insert adsense codes ni the template of their website. Adding ads to each page is almost impossible and very boring so its not needed.

  • I use the adsense now lite plugin on my pages as well. Works good.
  • Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to try the plug ins, see which one I like. Hopefully they can help me unclutter my Adsense.
  • i use the plugin adsens easy ads

    you just upload your adsense code to it and then your code appears on any page you want it to

    its ok doing things manually if you only 5 - 10 pages but any more than that things start to get very difficult to maintain

    • How do you know this guy is talking about a wordpress blog?
      Is it because it's the default for those who have no clue?
      Nobody even asked...

      If it's not a wordpress, blog, forget about plugins. What
      good would a plugin do on some other webpage? There
      are those who just feel hand coding is the way to go.

      Anyway, I digress.

      The chap has obviously felt the need to keep creating a
      new ad block whenever he wanted to add adsense.

      Using php, asp, etc. makes it very easy to add adsense
      to every page. Wordpress, well, if I needed a plugin for
      anything and everything, I'd can wordpress and find a
      real CMS.

      40 pages would take very little time, even if they were
      pure html pages as stand alone pages. The beauty
      of that, is that you can indeed put them anywhere
      and everywhere you want. cpanel or some other
      ftp program would handle this manually in about 15
      minutes. Or less.

      What this guy needs to be told, is to keep using
      the same adsense code over and over, and use
      custom channels if new ones are needed.

      Seriously, the guy needs to read the adsense help
      guide.

      Every page you paste the SAME adsense code is
      treated like a unique page to the adsense bot.
      All 40 pages can have the same adsense code.

      Still have no idea as to where people got the idea
      he has a wordpress site. He makes no mention of it.

      If he does have a wordpress site, then my first
      paragraph statement holds true. As usual.
