Who Has Seen Their Website Jump in the SERPs Because of Adding Content?

What I'm doing now is that I have 40 pages of an informational website. I am outsourcing it to a writer that is really good (we're doing 1,000 words per page) and I'll be adding another 50 pages to the site (perhaps two per day).

So what I want to find out is this:

First of all, I just need someone that has added content to their website. If you have - did you see your website jump in your aimed niches? If so - how many pages did you add?

It's not just adding content/pages that will get you ranked.

If you already have a single page ranked in the SERPs for your keyword, your job with new supporting content is half finished.

Building additional authority on a keyword is done with 100% relevant supporting pages & internal linking on relevant pages.

It's not complicated boosting the authority that your overall site has for a keyword subject, it's the same process regardless of how tough/weak the competition is. High relevancy is the key to boosting the SERP position per keyword.

Look at some of the Silo threads I've posted on in the past here on Warrior Forum, it should help make more sense of the internal linking & how important it is, also how it makes SEO less work by being focused on the keyword/subject.

Note, I'm not saying external links are any less important. My point is focused internal/external linking is a lot easier than bulk external links with zero relevancy to the internal page/keyword.

Is it possible to accomplish internal linking through a plugin or do you recommend manually linking pages.

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

Thanks Yukon. However, I did not mention the internal linking that I do for my sites - the thought never entered my head. But thx again for your well thought out post.

btw Yukon - I have a comment that I'm going to post about videos soon.

Yes, I have seen an overall boost in ranking from adding quality content to the site. I had a site with about 150+ pages on a topic and I added 75 more. I saw a boost in SE traffic to the 150 pages within a few weeks after adding the new content.

However, the bigger boost to specific keywords comes from the strategy yukon is suggesting.
