Guy, i am newbie to adsense i want to make sure whether seo ranking has any effect if i use bestxyz.com instead xyz.com(situation where EMD is not available) and also will take time more than EMD to rank?

    EMD is becoming less and less relevant.

    If you are building a small targeted niche site around a keyword that best describes your site, then yes - always.

    If you are building a broader niche site, then look for a domain that covers a wider scope of your keywords and content.

    Quality is the way to go, just don't give the world another crapy niche site with the pure intention of fooling the search engines into thinking your site is the most relevant. If you do, Google will sniff you out and rightfully so.
