percent of clicks from global

Hi

I seen a market samuari video a few months back where studies showed that of the page 1 results

What percent of people went to the 1st ranked site / 2nd ranked site etc etc etc

Does anyone know the research figures? I can't find the video.

The reason I ask is that if I look at a global monthly search of 500, I want to predict how many of those clicks my site will get if it ranks on page1 in a particular position. I'm sure this information would be very useful for a variety of members for a variety of reasons

    Global esitmates are not reliable at all. When doing keyword research you should definitely use the 'exact' option, and consider that this is an indication as well. Then the following rule applies, give or take, 50% - 60% of traffic goes to the #1. 30% spread over #2 and #3.
