Hi,

My friends site was number one for one of his keywords phrases for months. A few days ago I noticed that its dropped suddenly from number one in Google search to not even being on page one.

Any ideas why this might be?

Thanks.

If your domain/website is new, you will experience the Google dance more than other websites. If your friend hasn't been buying or building thousands of spammy links, then you won't need to worry about it... It will eventually reappear. The Google dance can happen to any website.

It's really hard to say...it could be a thousand reasons.

Watching the state of Google lately, I'd guess that it's just Google being Google...there is no such thing as seo stability any more. Google dances like mad these days and there's nothing you can do about it. Ever.

You are at their whim and fancy.

No spamy links that I know. Is the Google dance just general up and down of a site rankings then?
