It is possible your site has been banned by Google.

You should answer the following questions:

    - Was your website new?
    - Did you use blackhat methods to optimize your website for search engines?
    - Did you use duplicate content?
    - Did you violate Google Terms of Service in other way?

You can check your site domain that do you get any penalties or banned.
If nothing to do with that, then you need check is your backlink still there. Is all your backlink and your page being index

    Banned
check at google, "site:ur site address" if the pages are still shown. It is not deindexed. If its a new site like a week or two. It happens a lot of time.

If you think this is a some sort of Google plenty. You can install a new theme, change the duplicate content, buid some good HR backlinks, make a new home post. It'll come back ( not always, but worked for me)

Sounds like you got a Google slap. Did you buy any links? If they see paid links (especially from Fiverr gigs) then they'll slap you out of the rankings for most of your terms. Your site will still be indexed and you may get some rankings but not for your competitive terms.

It's easy to see what Google sees - just go to your google webmaster tools account and see what links they show and if any of them look like spam links or paid links.

Google just sucks and they wiped out many quality sites, like mine. try site:yoursite.com or links:yoursite.com if it shows up you're not banned. BTW OP are you using hostgator?

"No new messages or recent critical issues."

of course not Google, because i like the thousand+ other sites you slapped into the who knows where, did nothing wrong. I really wish more embraced bing, the power needs to be spread out, Google is clearly not able to handle it anymore.

If you're sure you have no mass links, paid links etc. you can send a reconsideration request - Google are very pro-active about trying to make sure the right sites get slapped and not good sites with genuine links.
If you bought any links or used any mass linking tools/services then you're just getting what you knew you would when Google woke up to address them.

Right now's a confusing time for SEO.

    All I can suggest is;
    • Clean up your site, fixing all broken pages or links.
    • Make sure the navigation layout is good, fix as needed.
    • Rewrite content to make sure it's unique as needed.
    • Add new content...
    • Maybe alter site title with more words besides JUST your top phrase.
    • GIVE GOOGLE SOMETHING NEW TO LOOK AT.

I did a test with a site of mine that had dropped from 100+ a day down to maybe 30 a day from Google search. I added new content, (posts and pages) redirect multiple domains too it, and increased time on site up too almost 3 minutes..

Result? Traffic reached an all-time high for the site. Over 200 a day from Google search now. I kissed Google's ass and lived to tell about it. Did a video on it.

If your site is relatively new, Google could still be deciding where you blog. You should also know that Google is doing a lot more updates to its algorithm nowadays so if you have a lot of duplicate content or publish low-quality content that provides no value to the end user, it's possible that your site could have been penalized. This would also be true if you were using a lot of "questionable" tactics.

Wierd, my site disappeared today too. It's nowhere to be seen, but it's still indexed though. I can't find it on any of the keywords..

I've been using legit backlinking methods so I don't understand. One thing I did though, I changed the Meta Description on the page two days ago. Maybe it's updating?

Simple, how old is your site.

People keep asking this question but if your site is new its normal.

Google can be picky about how new things are. Maybe someone updated theirs, maybe a couple hundred people did. Best to do what these other people are saying, great advice, just type "site:" and your site, pretty obvious if it shows up or not to determine if it was banned. Google's not all bad, I've had plenty of sites and as long as you're not copying or spamming it with ads you should be in the clear.
