In testing just a moment ago, it appears they reversed their recent update that wiped out various sites a few days ago. I'm not sure to what extent though. Have your sites returned?

Wow I was ready to make a sarcastic comment but you're right. I had no money sites hit but a few of my blog network sites lost their usual rankings and now they're back with a vengence. Interesting.

They already tested it. Now they are in tweak mode and will be until the next major update. Highly doubt its a reversal.

Yes. Many sites returned to their previous position and they are ranking well on Google again. It is reported by many users that have such problem on other threads on WF now.

My sites are still being blocked. Do I have to put in a request with Google or will it just come back on its own?

I'm not totally sure. Maybe the Google Webmaster forum? I was reading some of the threads there and it looks like almost everyone that posted has gotten their rankings restored. I'm wondering if it would be good to post my website and see if someone will help me out.

Or maybe my site isn't ever coming back. Maybe I'm legitimately being penalized due to my BMR transgressions. However, my site has a lot of great quality content and I was getting good traffic up until a few days ago.

I see most people are happy now because their rankings have come back. Is anyone else still in the Google black hole like me? The Googlebot has already visited my site 4 times today and nothing has happened. The last visit was 10 minutes ago!

Either way, I wish something would happen soon because I have a bunch of new content that I'm eager to post. I want to make sure the site is okay before I put anything else on there. Plan B is to pull off all of my content and start fresh with a new domain.

A lot of people are reporting that their sites are rising from the dead. Should be an entertaining few days on the Google roller coaster.

I think the general concensus is that some have returned, some haven't and some never moved. It seems that only Google know whats really going on and it can't be random. It is too early to know what is going to happen medium to long term though.
