Authority site: How to target large numbers of similar keywords?

Hi Warriors,

I am working on a large authority site and have the following question:

Say I find a subniche that I want to target, and pick 1-3 keywords for an article. I also find maybe 20 other keywords that could be profitable, but they are all basically about the same things as the article with 1-3 keywords.

How would you go about targeting these 20 extra keywords? If I were to make new articles for them, I'd probably end up with a bunch of articles giving the exact same answers, but with different keywords.

I am trying to give the readers the best possible experience, but I don't see how having almost identical articles will do that, and I don't want to make just one long article stuffed with LSIs.

Any suggestions?

try work the keywords into the article.

But also what I find to work great is add them as Tag's to the page. ( If you are using wordpress it's easy )

    • Use one keyword in each article. Using similar keywords or keywords with the same meaning doesn't necessarily mean that you have to write similar articles. Make a list of topics that are relevant to your website and then start writing about each of them. This way you can target different topics without repeating yourself.

I have the same issue. Let's say there are abbreviations, and singular and plural versions. How do you account for all variations?

Also, is it only the anchor text in the link that counts or does listing the words in the article somewhere count for link juice?
