What font size do adsense units use. I am having difficulty matching it exactly with the content on my site.

wordtutorial DOT net

Am using font family Verdana and have selected the same in the AD style.
Problem is with font size. Am using size 14px in the content and Medium size in the adsense style.

Secondly even if i use Large font size, the one appearing in leaderboard is quite small.

Would be grateful for any other comments on the adsense placement etc on my site.

For Default (Medium) size on adsense, I believe it is
    Arial:14px
    Verdana:13px

Leaderboard ad font sizes are smaller. And having the font size similar is not going to make a huge difference in your click through rate so I wouldn't stress about it too much.

Thanks everyone for your help. Have found the verdana medium to be 13px as described by lovboa.

You are able to try and adjust the font. Problem is, google
will ignore it on many ads because of the way things are
done when they serve ads. I've seen my ads go from
giant text, to downright hard to read. Even though I have
          it set, supposedly.

I have noticed that google chrome is more apt to obey
your wishes, but even then it's iffy.

Leave the default. It's not default by chance. Google has
a lot of testing behind what they do.

Plus, I have seen ads look downright dumb and very
sore on the eyes when text is fiddled with.

According to this page, the three available font sizes - small, medium and large - range from 11px to 15px.

I haven't tried to imitate ad styles exactly, myself, but depending on which component of an ad's text you're trying to match, remember the actual headline links are also bolded (and underlined, obviously); and whether Google employs custom letter spacing or whatnot, I couldn't say.

I think you can not customize all content size and font type. Adsense have only few option for font size and font type. if any solution you found then share with us...
