List of .Gov .Edu Backlinks ? Will it works ?

Hi friends.

I work for australian websites, and i got a list of .gov and .edu backlinks from chinese websites.

If i get backlinks from .gov and .edu chinese websites, will it really worth for my australian site ? Will my keywords gets improved in ranking or it will be considered as SPAM ?

Please post your contradictions.

    I am not 100% sure, but think it will help. If all those backlinks be DoFollow then you will get link juice from there.

    I don't think that they considered as spam if you made them from quality sites. I also think they can help the ranking on your target website a little but not a lot. Its better to make backlinks from Australian sites if you want to optimize the website for Australia.

      I added my client profile in one of the chinese forum å...³äºŽ fredkmolloy and got backlink from .gov sites.

      Will this helps in SEO, or backlink from chinese forum not relevant to our theme makes SPAM.

        The links you made will not be marked as spam only because they are made from Chinese websites. If we think, its natural that websites in other languages link to a website and its natural. I listed some Australian forums, but i am not member of them and didn't try them. But have a look at them:

    Yes it'll do help your site, Back Links from good sources like gov or edu sites mark as beneficial. And also if those are Chinese or any other in language, still they do beneficial.

    Usually those edu backlink is either from user profile or blog comment, it is a places full of spammer. Only quality link will help for ranking, don't waste time.

    If these Chinese backlink sources are related to your niche, they’d help you. But, nevertheless you shouldn’t be expecting any magic outta these so called ‘privileged extensions’...They work in the same way as any other authority backlink. With a backlink, all you need to look is if the source is related and high quality and whether it has flown naturally or not.

    if you put your deep links in .edu website than this is not useful. But if you get editorial back link from the .edu site than you are in profit.

    .gov and .edu backlink will always prove to be worthfull whether it is from chinese websites or from other countries.. but it is really difficult to get backlinks from such domains..

    I would try to avoid .gov's and .edu's that appear to be full of spam looking comments. Some people don't care, but I think those in particular are a waste of time. There are some good .gov and .edu sites out there. They are usually nofollow on blogs anyway if that matters to you.

    Its rally hard to get backliks from Gov or .edu WEBSITES. there is shortcut of it. Only you can buy .gov or .edu links. if it is so than it might be a Spam and effect your website.

    First check those pages to get an idea about current out bound links. If you see too many links or spammed links like Porn, viagra, pharmacy etc, ignore those pages and select low OBL pages. Then put some comments and get backlinks.
