Boom! Google Panda Strikes - Now the Fight back

Well, I'm not sure if coincidence or as a direct result of Google's "scorched earth policy" with Panda, but some (not all thank goodness) of my sites have been hit hard.
However, I am using it as an opportunity to see re-visit some of my more "neglected" sites. to see if I can apply a bit of post panda CPR and bring them back to life. To find out what really works, and refine my SEO process.

But the experience has taught me a few things

(1) It has also demonstrated on sites where I rely less on loads of off page SEO, and more on just regular, valuable content - traffic keeps coming
(2) I'm grateful not all my online income comes from just ranking well in Google
(3) there are loads of other robust traffic sources

Time for the fight back.

I say "fight back" - but you know what they say, "make love, not war", so I guess we just need to give Google what it wants.

I'll report back my findings after a month - to see if those sites gasping for "Google air" are revived.
How are other people changing their approach - if at all?

I've found this too. Many of my sites with genuinely useful content, repeat visitors and traffic from varied sources have actually done better post panda whilst my sites that rely almost exclusively on SEO and admittedly have little value have been hit hard by Google.

I'm starting to focus now much more on simply good, useful sites that offer lots of value to the user as a result of this. It's probably what I should have been doing all along but oh well, you live and you learn.
