is it a good idea to create a new adsense advert for each page or can you create one advert and use its code over all your sites?

which approach is better? cause if you have like 200sites you'll have 600ads created.

  • Do each page if it matters. It would be a bear to do that.
You can use the same code on all pages. What you
really should do is custom channels.

  • I agree with Paul up top. If you wanted to do this, custom channels will probably be the simplest way to get it done so you can keep an eye on which ads perform best in what spots.

  • hi thanks a lot for the feedback I had a suspicion that it may be something to do with that. I'll go research it.

At the moment I'm also researching the use of authorship on sites with your google plus account. It increases your click throughs from serps haveing a photo to show.

But for some reason ctr theme clashes with googles rich snippet test and fires some errors back as detailed in this wordpress post. WordPress › Support ยป Warnings generated by Google Rich Snippets Tool

Trying to find a way to sort it I know it has something to do with the link to a feed in my source code, not sure how to edit the rss feed attributes
  • Just link your adsense and analytics accounts and then within analytics you can see the revenue generated by each page/visitor/source etc.

You don't need to go crazy creating so many channels these days.
