What is a google proxy?

In scrapebox it says whether a proxy is a google proxy or not. I dont understand what a google proxy is. I have searched the net but cant really find anything. Do non google proxies work in scrapebox? I need them for harvesting. At the moment I am only using google proxies with medium/fast speed that I have harvested myself

    • Google proxy is such proxy which is able to bypass Google too. For Harvesting or Checking PR and etc. you need to bypass Google, otherwise there is a chance of getting penalized by it and leaving a huge footprint which is certainly not desirable.
      So, YES, the proxies have to pass the Google Anonymity test to avoid such situations.
  • most of the proxies are banned from google due to massive of harvesting or spam activity. public proxies are always get ban to fast. always use private proxies.
