Hello Everyone,

I am currently working on a SEO Certification and am looking to invest in a tool that will help me along with keyword research, link building, on-page optimization, etc.

I found several available options and am trying to decide on what to invest in:

1. SEO Powersuite Professional (is the free version comparable?)

2. SEO Moz Subscription

3. Market Samurai (saw some negative reviews on this one)

4. Web CEO

5. Traffic Travis

6. MagesticSEO

7. Other?

Please Note:

I am highly motivated and dedicated to succeed. Plus I am an intelligent person...thus it is a TOOL I already possess. I am spending 2 hours each day studying SEO and 1 hour implementing what I have learned (have been for several weeks).

I found a number of tools and need something that would be a good investment and will offer a complete SEO research tool. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your advice.

I'm with you 100% on that one.

      Senuke for link building
The best spinner for writing articles (manual spinning only!)
      Market samurai for accessing competition
Google's keyword tool for keyword research
      Proxy Bonanza for proxies
      deathbycaptcha for the decaptcha services
SEO Powersuite for rank tracking and backlink analysis

If you don't rank on the first page for most keywords with those tools you are doing something very wrong.

I think we can be SEO tool buddies man

The only thing I don't use is Proxy Bonanza, I use a private proxy my friend set up.

I also use Ultimate Demon and Magic Submitter only because SEnuke x doesn't allow the adding of custom sites lists yet.

We're in the same boat on this one.
After weeks of research, I am leaning more towards powersuite and submiteaze, as for article submission, I think I might go with the best spinner.

Let me know how you go later.

    1. SEO Powersuite Professional (is the free version comparable?)
    - This is pretty decent, I find it useful (only used paid version)
    2. SEO Moz Subscription
    - No
    3. Market Samurai (saw some negative reviews on this one)
    - Outdated
    4. Web CEO
    - No
    5. Traffic Travis
    - Never
    6. MagesticSEO
    - Meh

I'd grab ScrapeBox and just scrape high PR blogs to post on manually.
The ages of automated SEO are coming to an end, so software is declining in terms of importance.

Well you asked 10 different people , and assume you are more confused and frustrated than you were before you started asking questions.

I would simply suggest being careful and do not get carried away. Start with with just one and start some where.

I still like Market Samurai, with respect to evaluating the competition, Scrape box has its value for finding blogs...

I will leave you with those two above, but as far as some popular tools on the internet, SenukeX, Social Demon, Seo Link Robot, Brute Force SEO, SEOQuake.

Write a few down and pick one for now, you will hear theses a second and third time, as you are roaming about.

  • SEO is the work that required much effort and time. Although the market has advanced tools with high prices, but there are also totally free tools that can help you (the webmaster), save effort.

    OP; this is 2012.

SEO Certification and a "tool" / keyword research / link building / on-page optimization doesn't fit together - at all. Not in future standards anyway.

One question tho: I am sure the company doing that "SEO certification" has provided a list of good "tools", right?

I also have a collection of seo tools for my work. After testing them, i would like to recommend you a great tool:Ksnipe software submitter.
Ksnipe software submitter is a very easy tool, which can be used to submit software to tons of websites and the support is unparalleled. Tina's customers aren't just a number, rather an important member. Ksnipe works unlike other submitters that promise the moon and stars and leave you with a picture of the moon and stars instead. Ksnipe software submitter does more for less and you cannot be unsatisfied. Updates come in like clockwork and the submissions are successful.

While it doesn't deal with optimization directly, a good SERP checker is a huge time saver, and a free one is even better.

Our site is an on-demand, completely free SERP checker. Registered users can check up to 160 keywords. We show you the results, track your best, previous and current position, do a little on-page seo check, allow you to check for three competitor domains at the same time, pick from 50+ google regions, and graph the last 30 days. We also use our own private proxies, so your results are accurate and not subject to being blocked by google.

Not too shabby for free. Check the link in our signature.
