Is it worth it to ask google why? Would you submit a reconsideration request or how would you go about doing it?

    Yes it have worth and you can get fast index your blog and website to ping google because you can improve your crawling time.

    If you mean pining your pages, yes, generally pinging should speed up the process of crawling your pages and if you think Google doesn't index your pages fast, ping them to Google and then Google crawl them but indexing and caching them relates to the value of your site in Google's eye. I mean maybe Google crawls your pages but doesn't index and cache them.

      No, I meant reach out to google about the ranking drops that have happened. I have no problem with google visiting my pages. They typically do over 1000 page views per day on the site in question.

    If your ranking on Google changes a lot and even after some weeks you didn't see any improvements, you can submit a reconsideration request because its the last attempt you can do in addition to removing your low quality backlinks and any other mistakes you did to optimize your site.
