Any free alternatives to google keyword traffic estimator?

Google has once again "fixed" something that was not broken.
Now their "classic" external KW *traffic estimator* tool is being "retired" + replaced with one that is basically useless.

Any other ones that can be used (free)?

Wordtracker is good, but so is your own brain. Put yourself in the shoes of the searcher and just think about what you would type in.

semrush.com is another good tool that you can try. It has free services too but the free service is limited.

Just to clarify -- what I am looking for is the *traffic estimator* part of it, NOT the KW suggestion part.

I want to know how many searches were made for particular KW's I already have. I do NOT need ideas/suggestions for other/more KW's.

I need tool(s) to help me do that. The classic google one is now going bye-bye (dunno why).

Try market sumarai or wordtracker. but all these apps and softwares works by utilising the google traffic estimator api.

  I just loaded up the traffic estimator to get search counts for about 10,000 keywords and, like you, am pretty annoyed at the changes. Interested to see if MS will still check the search counts of keywords that I import.
