Hi,
Something that is interesting for webmasters, and SEO.
Google announced a new algorithm change to reduce the ranking of 'perceived' spammers.
Another step to reward high-quality sites - Inside Search
This latest update appears to target keyword stuffing (lists of keywords) and article spinning.
This will reduce the rank of the website with spam keywords in their content.

  • This news is now 2 days old and there are many many threads on it already....
  • All the Keywords that I have been SEO'ing have all been reduced. I was doing the usual (article marketing, blog comments, etc...). However, what I have noticed is that I am now getting hits for keywords I haven't targeted. My traffic is the same, if not slightly more.

Looks like the big 'G' has cracked downing on ****ty backlinks.
  • Good news to white hat webmasters.

    • No it's not. In fact, the white hat folks got hit the hardest.

On Google's own example of "spun content" in the webmaster post, the "pay day loans" site on that spam content is actually #2 for pay day loans....

The good guys are all upset because they tanked.
  • They always say but they just say
  • on 25th april google ate the many keyword ranking.
