Matt Cutts - a few days

Matt Cutt's latest blog post on the GWMC blog stated the update is being rolled out over the next few days.

That was yesterday.

A few days constitutes up to seven days I believe.

And does anyone really think that the results will stay how they are?

Do you really believe to leave the results how they are - is a good idea?

Of course not.

So maybe in the process of this update they've removed a filter or two to work on them.

And everyone will see it all come back later.

Google DO have to test their changes and get feedback, they are getting lots of it.

Just wait it out guys.

And if you really want to start worrying.. maybe it's just preparation for the end of the world.. who knows eh? :rolleyes:

    This is how they did the 1st Panda update, and the Mayday update if I am not mistaken.

    Results will probably fluctuate through Friday, then settle down. If you remember correctly, a lot of SEOs thought Panda was the end of the world, but over the course of the year, peoples' sites started coming back (some of them).

    The point is, once this settles down, and it will here shortly, figure out what went wrong and ADAPT! After Panda, people started build really good websites. Now, people will have to start building really good link strategies (and it is hard and time consuming).

    This is NOT the end! If your site only bounced a few positions or a couple of pages back, you are good in the long run. Stay the course and start building quality links to those sites, and in time they will start to regain rankings.

    I agree, this is Not the end, but it is a time of adapting and doing what needs to be done.
    Keep building and they will return higher in the rankings.
