Can Anyone Recommend a SEO Company

My main site has completely tanked after the latest Google update. It is a little over a year old and had been consistently ranking on page one for several key terms. Now, those pages I built links to are nowhere to be found in the search results. I am guessing the damage is already done, but can anyone recommend a good SEO company that doesn't rely on spun content for backlinking? Some good links may just help get me out of this. Only time will tell I guess.

There are plenty of companies out there that can help you but you need to make sure they can get you results and not just talk a good job.

Results speak louder than words :-)

Not to sure if anyone would recommend a GOOD SEO company that is working for them, since in essence you will then be their competition.

Instead I think maybe look into what type of SEO works best and what types of links you should be looking to get.

Often it's best to start with a new site, I don't think just a few strong links will solve the problem and like Nelapsi said, mostly it's just throwing your money away, penalized sites are not easy to recover.

We can not recommend a company because some companies usually do spamming till now and they tried to generate black hat SEO techniques to show their websites on the top of the SERP. In most of freelancing website clients want their website to show top of the search results in a short time. But in ethical SEO these techniques are not recommended. Then how can we recommend these companies?

I only want to say all the companies running behind the numbers i.e top search engine results which stay for the short time and after penalty not stay up on the top results.

You may be better off getting a website review from Yoast.com. A little bit pricey (about $700 to $800) but they are good at what they do and they will tell you everything you need to know and do.

Here’s some of the things you can expect to find in your website review:
    • Recommendations on your site’s structure and design.
    • Suggestions to improve your site’s HTML code.
    • Smart optimization strategies to increase your website rankings and SEO traffic.
    • Techniques to convert those visitors into buyers or subscribers.
    • Tips and tricks on increasing the performance of your website.

I guess, your site is under Google dance, as your ranks disappear once you get backlinks, it is usual for mostly new sites. You have to understand that, SEO is not a weekly game, it is monthly game - You should have patience and also, you have to understand that SEO should be more natural these days, So, you have to find the SEO consultant or SEO company, who knows well to play around with tricks and practice White-hat always. I am sure there are lots of companies/experts, even here you can find. I would strongly suggest you to do a small research before selecting the best. Ask questions, get clarifications, then offer the project and keep tracking all details of backlinks, performance and etc.... Good luck on your finding...

NO it isn't not if you do link building that is more organic looking. Might not rise as fast even shuffle back and forth but disappear is usually when you blast them with low quality links

There was a time I might of debated this, however that would of been my inexperience showing big time. I recently started working on what I thought would be an improved strategy and so far have noticed not a single dance. I wrote the original article and it showed up in the rankings better then I expected (but still close) and didn't budge for a few days. I think started working on how I planned out the backlink building and it never started doing the dance I have experienced in the past.

I am doing this a second time and noticing the same kind of results. So I am incline to agree that if you start to dance it means you are doing something wrong and Google doesn't like it. This should serve as a red flag perhaps to people.

Are you crazy? You are questioning the SEO consultant who offers aticle blasts and forum and blog commenting (on irrelevant sites no less) as part of their link packages.

They clearly have a lot of experience with making sites dance all over the place.

I dunno man I think we are just behind the times Mike. I look at the silver package at what it provides for like nearly $400 US and think that based on that every thing I offer should be minimum $1200

Thanks Mike But I have not graduated to that level yet. I don't have PR9 domain like the fiverr gig guys . Adobe and Wikipedia turned me down when I made an offer

Well just to make sure other people reading understand and I don't mislead them. It will shuffle sometimes. You could be 30 one day and then 52 the next . I don't even think thats related to the link just perhaps your newness to the top spots. But the crazy stuff people here claim is the norm? its the norm for their kind of links. My page once they show up just don't disappear or drop into sub zero. If they do then I know theres some on page issue but most of the time I don't get that

Having taken a few more customers from WF recently I got to say by and large their sites take A LOT more to move to the top then my non WF customers and thats because a backlink history of bad Spammy links. I have one guy who I can''t yet crack him into 100 - he might even have a penalty from before he came to me. Another has 8.000 plus of mostly junk links and its slow going there too although we are now moving up. Even without unnatural link notices you can tell Google has tweaked the algo so that bad links actually weigh sites down.

How is that possible, domains only double up each time:

                PR3 $100
                PR4 $250
                PR5 $500
                PR6 $1000
                PR7 $2500
                PR8 $5000
                PR9 $10.000

You should know the prices, wiki will never let go for less then 10k, Adobe maybe but wiki definitely not, it's cause they have this kind of public feeling, they don't know how to value money.

Lol, glad someone shares the same feeling as me. 6 weeks to see results is nothing unusual with poor sites, and in some cases 6 weeks is not even enough and that while others rank within a week or one and a halve.
