Let`s give google a wake up call!

Okay, as lots of us have lost rankings in google and lost (lots of) money because google`s latest update, I think it`s time to give google a wake up call.

Let`s start using bing/yahoo to search stuff. Let`s do part of our searches in other search engines. And we should also spread the word across the webmasters and tell everyone to search somewhere else than google.

I`ve had it with google, that`s obvious. Google think they can do whatever they want...Or that`s what google thinks...

If we can shake google after their updates (by searching heavily with other se`s) maybe they will see search volumes getting lower after their updates...and at some point stop treating webmasters like trash.

Honestly, google pulls our strings and we are at google`s mercy. That sucks! Let`s show google they are not as allmighty as they think.

Google (bot) I hope you read this and try to understand what you are doing.

Google seems to think like Nokia. Nokia was market leader for years and they thought they can do just about anything. And then they messed things up little by little and now the experts say Nokia will never be in leading position again.

If google wants the same thing to happen they must be out of their minds. They can`t expect people to stick with them if they treat webmasters like this.

So, let`s show google how to treat us...search with other engines as long as out sites get back

And that would amount to about 1/1000th of a percent of the market share that Google has.

Not a single user who is not an internet marketer is complaining about the algorithm change.

Still, it`s better than sitting and doing nothing...

I have seen both bitter complaints and some mild praise from people with Adsense sites on various forums. There will likely be a lot more shaking going on until the lull, if any, before they go on to the next big changes and the whole thing will start all over again.

Actually, what you are advocating equals doing nothing since it will have 0 affect.

The point is, none of google's users care if you lost rankings - neither does google.

    Bing, do they still exist?

The IMer crowd is probably like 0.1% of Google traffic on a good day.

      LOL @ 0.1%.

      More like 0.005%.

I've got a feeling Facebook will be rolling out their own search soon. It only makes sense. Facebook's traffic is ridiculous and could probably easily build a search into their platform and actually compete with Google.

Like they said it's not likely to have an effect however, Facebook would be a good place to start.

If you started a page and sent it viral posting it here and on other forums in your signature, I wonder how many webmasters and business owners would join up and start ranting? interesting...
