MFA and SERPs

Hi.

Just wondering, do MAde for Adsense (MFA) sites still feature much on the first page of Google these days? Have a look around but can't see many MFA sites.

Regards,

Jim.

p.s. I wonder if "Xfactor" is still going strong?

Many or maybe most established MFA sites have dropped indeed. But new ones still rank as well as ever, at least with my methods.
  • I would be VERY surprised if there are many classic X-factors still ranking for any major keywords. Though anyone following these things may correct me on that. There are none in any SERPS I compete for - I wiped them out a long time ago

Having said that, my one and only site that has a X-Factor-type template shot up to no. 2 from about no. 6 for a long-tail sub-page keyword that brings in some CB sales every now and then. Its main EMD keyword is still at no. 492 where I left it
  • It's been awhile since these have ranked well. (Unless there's basically no competition.)

At least, from the searches I've done.
  • There are definitely less of them now... I only have one website at the moment it's an MFA and it's still on the first page.

Content is 100% unique written by me quality is about college level

    Backlinking all done by me

    Shared hosting

    blah blah blah!
  • Mine have been wiped from first page of Google, too.

My suggestion, do not build MFA websites anymore. It's too risky and you could lose your Adsense account.

    Try to diversify.
