Is this a niche I can compete in?

Hey All,

Starting up my first Niche site, have done keyword research for days and wanted to check in with you if this is a niche I can compete in:

(I can't post pictures yet, so will type out the numbers instead)

SEOT = 250 (Phrase search)
PBR is about 45%
AWCPC = $1.17

I checked the competition, and most of the sites are either 1, 2. Couple of PR 3's and one PR 5. The average of all PRs is about 1.8.

It's a niche that I can definitely write good content about.

Also I can get an exact match .org domain.

Is this something I should compete in?

Thanks

    seems like it could be a little tricky.. but not impossible. id say to go for it, but be patient with ranking..

    is that daily SEO traffic or monthly? if it's daily SEO traffic then go for it. if not, it might be tough with so little traffic. but that also depends on if the keyword is a targeted buying keyword.

      This is daily traffic.

      Ok, I'm going to go for it. Should be a learning experience regardless.

      EDIT: It's a "pain" keyword search. Something one would type if they have a problem and are looking for a fix.

        Sure is worth it. I've had a few in the health niche done well and then sold off. As long as the content is extremely targeted to sorting out there problem, i'm sure you won't have much problem topping the serps.

    Oh and just keep a track of what you do, backlinking wise... if it works out then you'll have a basis on what to do for your next website.

    One more thing: should I get an exact match .org domain or <keyword>-hq.com domain or something.

    Does it matter?
