  • Whoa went up to PR 3 on the site that was slapped by Penguin. Hmmm. Others are all the same.

    • Same here. This is odd.

    • Same here. Up to PR4 on my main page, and up on many of my inner pages as well. Up to 3 on some of them.

      HOWEVER! I've dropped in the SERPS from bouncing back and forth from position #1 and 2, to bouncing between #11 and 12. Some of my keywords have fallen WAY back. Let me tell you, that killed my traffic! From a steady 3500 per day at my peak, to around 1K a day now. Fortunately this is just one of my sites, but it's my biggest and busiest.

      Oh, and this is a site that has all organic links, and the SEO isn't overdone. Nothing against G's WM guidelines. The only links that I generated personally include ONE article that I put up on EZA, less than 5 blog comments when I first created the site, and about the same amount of directory links.

  • Yes, Pageranks are updated today. It seems that Google is going to update pageranks exactly once every three months.

  • I haven't seen any change on any of my sites, all of which are several years old.

  • Just another example of why PR is BS.

    A friend dealing with purely spammy links and MFA (low quality, missleading 5 supbages sites) has all PR3 sites with PR2-3 subpages...ALL of them!

    Maybe it will change in the days to come, but the last 2 updates showed the same so who knows...

  • No increase for a site I optimize, either. It went from PR 4 to PR 3. Oh, Google, please spare me the trouble of your pet Penguin.
  • after the penguin update i can see a 17% traffic increase - i think that´s due to the fact that i didn't care a dime about SEO when i first started the page ;-)

    • 2 month old site jumped to PR5. I've hardly done any kind of link building with it. Unfortunately it doesn't rank high in the SERPs for any keyword yet, which is the most important thing.

  • In comparison to previous PageRank updates, this one was very minor.

    Overall I saw little fluctuation on the hundreds of websites that I manage.
