Bookmarking Demon for Anchor Layer

Hi All!

I am using a backlinking strategy that I learned from Pat Flynn's site SmartPassiveIncome.com. (I believe he picked up the strategy from this forum and references it in his post)

Anyway he does not stress a importance for Social Bookmarks, but I believe this is becoming more and more important in Google's Algorithm.

My question is how to use Bookmarking Demon with this type of strategy. I find the program somewhat confusing on setup, and haven't found very many good tutorials. Is anyone using BMD to mas submit anchor layer sites? If so, how have you set it up?

I know you can load your own sites, camouflage the bookmarks, and do a lot more, but I am clueless. Can someone suggest how to set it up for this strategy or point me to a good tutorial?

Thanks!

The tutorials the come with BD pretty much explains its basic function, but frankly it just takes "quite' some time to get used to it when you're starting.

You can search for those bookmarking sites manually on Google or you may use scrapebox to scrape your own sites, here are some of the footprints you can use:

intext:"bookmarks" "Store, share and tag your favourite links"
intext:"date" "Store, share and tag your favourite links"
    inurl:scuttle/register.php
    inurl:scuttle/register
intext:"Sort by:" "Store, share and tag your favourite links"
    inurl:?sort=url_asc
    inurl:?sort=url_asc AND "keyword"
    inurl:bookmarks.php scuttle
    inurl:by scuttlePLUS
    inurlopulartags.php/ AND "keyword"
intext:about "Store, share and tag your favourite links" about
intext:"register" "Store, share and tag your favourite links"
    inurl:scuttle/about.php
    inurl:scuttle/bookmarks.php

If you are using it for your money site, don't blast it. Try to schedule it to build links slowly (no more than 10 links/day if your site is new).

But if you're trying to rank a site, only using bookmarking is not enough. You'll also need other links like web2.0 blog link, comment links (preferably high quality), competitors links, links from article directory etc. So adjust you links/day accordingly.

Just make sure not to build too many links per day (no more than 10 links per day if your site is 1-2 months old), and as it grows you can gradually increase the amount of links per day.

Surely you can use it to blast your Tier1 sites (anchor layer) as much as you want to pass link juice but most of the bookmarking sites are gonna eat up captchas very fast, so instead you may better use an AA list in scrapebox to blast comment links to the "anchor layer sites", so you won't have problem with captcha costs.

I think BD is best for (and the captcha cost is only worth for) helping to diversify the link profile (link ip) for your money sites.

    Hope it helps

Thanks for the Info Jet. Unfortunately I cannot afford scrapebox at the moment. I've tried searching google for lists, but when I try to add them I usually get very few accepted. Like 1 out of 300. Then when I do my runs I will have 6000 in the queue and get 300 submissions and the rest are wasted captchas (like you've mentioned). Am I doing something wrong, or is the program just not that successful?

I would love to find a step by step on how to use it with this type of backlinking strategy. I'm wondering how many different emails I should load in there, how to setup proxies and so on and so forth.

I haven't used BMD for over a year now. I found the quality of the program had dropped considerably.

Apparently they've moved to version 6 so it maybe worth a play again.
