What are you doing to get your niche website in the top of google for your keyword? What's working for you.

Something that ive noticed is that google now loves detailed and thought out content.

Although, just getting a bunch of backlinks doesn't work anymore. Or does it?

      As the poster above me says, add some video submissions, doc sharing, try to find places where you can leave a guestposts, rent relevant homepage links but only at sites that are very strick with the number of outbound links. Build web2.0's in linkwheel format.

      All works out great, I rank dozens of people a week using these methods.
