PR9 PR7 or squat?

Ok question here, I got SEO quake and it helps to determine the PR rank of a website. It tells me that the sub pages of websites are not ranked as high as the main page so im unsure if I am getting a PR 9 or a PR 7 backlink.

Here is an example.

I was told if I create a wordpress.org post in the forum I would get a PR 9 backlink.

wordpress.org is a PR9

however where the post appears in the word press support form is a PR7

and the body of the blog post comes up as PR N/A

Im going to assume making a post with my website in the Body of the blog post is going to get me squat.

But if I make a new post with my website in the Heading of the blog post I will get a PR 7 backlink.

Am I correct?

    Yes and NO. Basically you will be getting some linkjuice from the PR9 site,thats why web 2.0s etc are so popular. The page your post will appear on will be N/A meaning its not worth a lot HOWEVER they can improve rankinging (from my experience). Just do the 2.0s manually and embed a video and then blast with xrumer and scrapebox to pass more linkjuice and to get indexed. Another point focus on sites that give DOFOLLOW links

      Could you break down what I need for your sentence here: Hopefully your reply is more than one sentence!

        Hmm if your a total newb it will be abit difficult. If you just create a wordpress blog with your link in its not worth much at all. I mean whos gonna see it and it wont have any PR value to help either. What you need to do is create the wordpress blog by hand. DONT use software like senuke etc, I dont know but google knows the difference or atleast I dont see as much ranking increase as manual. You need to make avideo relevant to the article to make it look more appealing and more natural. WHen this is done you need to build links to the wordpress blog through xrumer and scrapebox to help it index. This will pass all linkjuice to your thread. Just read around on this forum. Some very knowledable people here. I have ranked long tail words in past pretty easily but now Im focusing on a harder keyword. Dont target something ridicilous like "make money online" it will take a lot of money, time and tears to get first page in big G

    The PR of any new posts will always show up as N/A. The PR database only updates once every 4 months or so, and it just updated, so any new posts will go from PR N/A to PR0 once they are indexed and won't appear to get better for a long time. This does not mean that the page is actually PR0, it just means you can't track it on a daily basis.

    So, making your post in the body of the blog will get you more than squat. The more popular your blog the more its real PR will rise and the more valuable your link will be.
