    Hmmm, there's a fine line between white hat and black hat.

    In general pretty much all of my links were white hat, and I was ranking for page one. Yet penguin really hit me.

    Having said that, I did have a fair few articles copied and put on different sites. But they were decent and not spun.

    The main problem was too many link keywords in the link the same.

    What is this penguin update again? Panda, penguin, etc etc. what's more to come? I don't really know n don't care tbh because google can update all they want.

    SEO is hugely overhyped. Yes it's a good traffic source, but if u depend on it 100%, be prepared to lose 100% of your income too, overnight. Never, ever rely solely on google.

    Google penguin appears in April as a devil for those who are doing blackhat SEO. But no need to think about it if you are using whitehat method.
