Does Page Rank really matters in search engine ranking on Google ?

Not really, when it comes to search engine rankings Page Rank has very little bearing.
Of course it is important for driving indexing of your site on search engines..

      Is it? Still I see exact match domains are ranking easily. If it is not important anymore like you said, will it have any adverse effects?

      Is it? I am still seing that exact match domains are ranking higher. If it is not important anymore as you said, will it make any adverse effect on google?

    Page rank doesn't matter and never has. it only matters when you are wanting links for serp increase.

    Page rank has no value. Only sites with page rank used for backlinking purposes have value to you.

      Pagerank absolutely matters. Is it the be-all-end-all? No. But a combination of quality & optimized content + pagerank is going to almost always outrank a site with similarly optimized content and no pagerank.
