Hi there,

so something had happen to me..

i started a new site,

the site content + on page seo was really good, content 1300+ words only home page with 6 images all with different alt tag, site with 7 pages of contact us , about us ,TOS, etc.v - i let google fully index all the site before making any link.

now i only build link twice using magic submitter.
send to web 2.0 pages, total of 70 web 2.0 - made in 2 weeks , never pinged.
the anchor diversity was 10% kw , 25% url , 30% generic words , 35% Long tails

to the web 2.0 i made using AMR 200 AA links using anchor of long tails.

to the AMR articles i made 1300 wikis links using long tails.

never ping both amr and wikkis.
since yesterday morning i rank dropped from 34 to 80. its the penguin?
btw im not connected to google analytics or google webmaster tools.

WHAT IS MY MISTAKE? SHOULD I START OVER ALL AGAIN?

I will appreciate your advice as i really took things slow and wanted to make it work..
#fast #penguin

It may just be because it's a new site as there is normally a bit of jumping around at the start but using magic submitter, AMR and 1300 Wiki links is just asking for trouble. These methods and this number of links in a short space of time just wont work with Penguin.

you are right, if i indeed made all those links directly to my homepage.. but only 70 links are directly to my homepage..

the rest is tier 2nd and 3nd. - and when you split the numbers its like every web 2.0 got 2.5~ links, each amr article got 3~ links... which is not much!

You have to build links manually rather than using software, but no need to worry as its your new site and google just down its ranking, now try to follow google webmaster guideline to optimize your site.

New sites do normally drop for a while. It appears nothing more than a Google dance, wait for a few days when things stabilize a bit.

    Good luck

For a brand new site that is probably still way too much link building. Slow and steady is key I believe. The link building game is changing and certain tactics won't cut it anymore.

Maybe your debut on the results was because of a Honeymoon effect. Anyway, if you're going to build links using that, I wouldn't suggest that you blast those in one go. As these guys are saying, you should takes things slow. Not all new things spread around like wildfire on the first day.

I agree with all the above plus something I have noticed
    Google penalize AMR posts now
AMR was my secret weapons few months ago but today most of my pages have gone with the wind when I use AMR
I tested that in many sites and the same results, all my keywords are not ranking.

Your mistake is you use software (Magic Submitter, SenukeX, etc...all the same)....to blast a zillion totally worthless web2.0 and bookmark links using brand-new, utterly worthless web2.0 accounts which created brand-new, utterly worthless web2.0 properties.

None of those web2.0 properties will have any backlinks to them, let me assume that all of them are using brand new accounts, sites etc.

Short: This might have worked an eternity ago - but today you cant do this anymore. You have created an entirely unnatural link profile this way.

No "legit" site would get a zillion links from web2.0/BM sites only..and in particular not all from "fresh" profiles only. If ANYTHING, Magic Submitter, SenukeX only have one reason to use now, that is to further diversify an already strong, existing link profile with, uhm, sorry, "Garbage Crap Links" to make it look a little more "natural" by infusing those type of links.

So many people using completely outdated methods, it's sad to see all this time and energy wasted.

Try to build links without software and aim to make each link quality.

Warriors need to get out of this view that creating thousands of links quickly and cheaply is the way to go foe success, there are so many other ways to get links.

Please stay away from those automated link building otherwise your site might disappear completely, 5links - 10links per day won't raise any eyebrows.

This has been the same result REGARDLESS of the "algorithm update".

New websites, with a backlink campaign are notorious for bouncing around.

You need to have a little more patience and time frame before your site's rankings will stabilize. It's the nature of the game, and always has been.

You talk like Panda/Penguin never happened. You cannot simply assume the same criteria are still working as they did 1+ years ago.

If this were the case, all we need would be any random software like SenukeX and blast a bunch of craplinks - after a period of "time it needs to stabilize" we are all at rank #1 - thanks to the wonders of Senuke, MagicSubmitter etc.

Obviously, this is not the case anymore. There is indications that web2.0 properties and the "usual spamming methods" have LONG lost their value.

Edit: None of his links are "quality links" although he did a good job with link diversity (i think) - but i would still be surprised if he would re-gain his rankings or get anything valuable out all those rather worthless links.

Ok, so it seems like using ANY automated link building software is a bad idea for my website, but what about using them to rank an ezine article or youtube video...is that out the question also?

Try to submit your site to google webmaster first then create a feedburner then create backlinks for that feed.
