Backlinking web2.0 (wordpress,tumblr..)

Hello,

I want to ask the following: How do you guys backlink your web2.0 sites? Do you backlink them with social bookmarks, article submissions, forum profiles, blog comments or something else?

I'm planning to test a new backlinking strategy which is mainly about making web2.0's and backlinking them with tier 2 links. However, I don't know what is the best link to backlinks those web2.0s.

I can probably only use 1 technique since I cant afford all the different automated softwares for backlinking web2.0s.

  • anything that might bring some traffic to the web 2.0s will be just fine. i suggest social media cause they seems to be pretty powerfull these days.
  • I mean more about backlinking purposes. My web2.0s will be used as backlinks, now I'm thinking how to boost those web2.0s to get more link juice
  • For my web 2.0 sites I actually used automated software since they weren't pointing to my money sites and good backlinks began to show up. That is probably the best way to use automated software, to point them back to your web 2.0 /Tier 2 sites.

    • What if you are trying to rank one of your Web 2.0's? Recently I noticed that one of my Squidoo lenses was ranked in the middle of page 1 without much effort outside of related lenses. Should I send some good links to them, or will automated tools still help them?
