As all you know well that how much blog commenting have the value for publisher and reader. Can it be possible that more and more people comment on my blog
#attract #blog #comment #people
  • First of all, you need to create engaging posts that grab people's attention. Include relevant questions in your posts and encourage your readers to answer them. Create controversy and provide people with unique information that can't be found anywhere else. Share personal stories and experiences - people respond well to these types of posts.

This is a common problem especially for the new bloggers. Keep in mind that a reader will only be inclined to comment on a blog which he or she finds useful. Always provide your audience with relevant information that they won’t find anywhere else and insert questions for them to answer. Of course, make sure that you answer each one of them in a timely manner.

If none works for you, share personal experiences on your blog because as you might have noticed, many people tend to these types of posts.

The best way to get comments even if you have a small blog is to join blog commenting tribes, you can find many of them if you search on facebook (there are many groups that are blog commenting tribes) and of course on google, one the best and largest tribe is the TSA tribe, you can find it on facebook and if you search on google...

You have to write your article uniquely. Try to focus more when writing articles.

What do you want comments for? If you blog doesn't get any and you don't want it to look like no one reads it just remove comments and add them back when the site gets enough traffic to warrant having comments.

It isn't like comment provide you some sort of value aside from seeing that a few people actually read what you write.

    1. Engage in related blogs that might be interested in your content.
    2. Synnd : Sends real human commenters to your blog to comment, in exchange for you commenting on some others, or purchasing credits
    3. Integrate facebook connect, which makes people much more likely to comment since most people are already logged into facebook, and this also helps by building a social link.

Create valuable informative content, put a link to your blog in you sig, make valuable comments or better create some engaging threads on the forum. You may have even greater success if you do this on popular forums related to your niche. To find those just type in google "your keyword + forum".

    Hello!

You clearly need timely and interesting posts to attract people to read and comment to your blog, of course. Plus, an interesting and striking title is very effective in grabbing reader's attention. If your posts are timely, a lot of your reader's can relate and they would probably comment on stuff they can truly understand and they are truly interested on.

    Best of Luck!

As others have said - write interesting content. It may be useful, controversial or shocking just make it interesting then ask readers to comment and engage in the conversation.

I simply create a alias and start an initial comment. For example onyou have a post "best men's aftershave" then create a login, add a comment like "your list is good but yadda yadda yadda" or "man, you suck , surely CK1 is best right everyone" .... People will react and want to get involved. Works like a charm .

You need to create compelling content. If you publish a post "5 SEO tips", why would anyone want to comment?

Also, Neil Patel recently published something on this. Might be worth reading and applying:

One most important rule is to create useful content for readers. You need to spend time on analyzing the needs of the readers and focus your attention on the content quality.

I'd focus on two areas; make sure the blog is setup correctly i.e linkroll, topics, share buttons etc.

Secondly, as others have said, post content that is high quality and optimized for the audience and search engines.

Whatever you do, do not use this plugin. All it does is encourage spammers. They scrape sites using this plugin and blast them with comments. Really bad idea.

Like Backlinko said, good content is really the key. Of course, you also have to get that content in front of people's eyeballs.

        Thanks for the warning.
I was just doing research on Commentluv and considering using it but not 100% sure about its benefits versus just using the standard wordpress blog features.

There are ways to get comments from first time visitors and there are ways to win readers who will always comment on your posts. There are certain things you can do to get both these categories of people to comment on your blog.

    1. Spark a controversy

This type of posts attract comment and I can bet my a*s on it. Just take a look around you; there are certain popular misconceptions you can address through a blog post, going against popular beliefs you know that are wrong. However, you shouldn’t overdo this and you must be careful else, you may lose some readers.

The fact of the matter is that these type of posts often generate comments. There are several topics in your niche you can write on that are controversial and I recommend you should consider this approach.

    2. Publish original ideas

One of my most popular posts that generated over a hundred comments was something I personally discovered. Prior to when I published that post, it wasn’t available anywhere on the internet (based on the Google search I ran before publishing). The comments was mostly “thank you” and the likes, but it went a long way in boosting my ego.

    3. Publish complex and educative tutorials

If you’re a tech blogger, you should be able to challenge yourself by writing tutorials, I mean complex ones and explaining them in clear terms. Apart from getting comments on this kind of posts, they get shared on social networks and public forums. Sometimes, I check my referrals to see them coming from forums I don’t even know. Most of the posts shared on forums are tutorials and when you write yours in such a way that even a baby can understand, be sure to get comments.

    4. Join blogging communities

Hold up, wait a minute! Before you read this, let me inform you that I do not use BlogEngage actively but bloggers who do get loads of comments on their blogs. Using BlogEngage isn’t free but if you go for the paid membership and your posts gets to the first page, you’re bound to gain lots of comments especially if your post is related to Blogging tips.

    5. Question your readers

After your blog post, do you ask your readers for feedback? Do you question them on the subject matter? Does your writing style encourage commenting? You need to change your writing style if need be. Check blog posts that get tons of comments and how such bloggers write, it helps.

    6. Avoid typos

A couple of typographical error is pardonable but loads of them in a blog post is an unforgivable sin. When your blog post is rife with errors here and there, no one will bother to drop a comment even if the article is very informative and educative.

    7. Reply to the few comments you get

You must treat your comments as personal messages that must be replied. Replying to comments encourages more comments and you must bear this in mind.

However, if your blog gets to a certain level, it would be also impossible to reply all those comments but you should still try your best all the same

    8. Gather lots of followers

Apart from getting Facebook fans, your personal Facebook and Twitter profiles too should help you get comments if well managed. Adding like-minded people as friends and those who will be genuinely interested in your articles is a great way to get comments on your blog posts.

You have to provide good, unique and INTERESTING content to get GOOD comments. Otherwise you can just edit your backlinks to dofollow and you would get thousands in a few days (SPAMMY backlinks)... Just kidding, do not do this!

I think you should leave some thing empty in your post (means write like all the action plan and leave few things by which the post still look valuable but compel visitors to ask questions) then at the end mention that comment on the post if you have any questions.. I hope it will help.

Actually I have the same problem with my make money online blog. But in this niche visitors are tire-kicker and freebie seekers very less are action takers. So, I don't get any comments. But this idea just came in mind.. I will try this and you also try if you like.

Yeah, you definitely want to focus on some debatable content as well. Posing a side to an argument (whether you believe it or not) is really key to opening up discussions. Backlinkto has it right...why would you want to comment on a post like 5 SEO Tips? You wouldn't. It's already been read, so let's move on. You won't get anything much better than "Great post."
