Never, I have an ad blocker and just preview my sites briefly in a different browser to make sure everything is doing fine.

      You should add another option;

Yes but an army of ptc traffic from India does it for me

Of course people click on their own ads by mistake.
I've done it. Many times. It happens.

It's no big deal. All times, google deducted the money.

Google tells you not to worry about it.

This is not the same as having the habit of
      clicking on your own ads.

Clicking on your own ads repeatedly for money is
foolish. Your ads' effectiveness goes down. If
this keeps up, you get smart priced, along with
      other things.

Never ever clicked my own ads. I don't want to get banned from Adsense. I've never heard of anyone getting banned from an accidental click but you never know how they are tracking movement and logins. Better to play by the rules I reckon and get to work on marketing.

If you click on your own ads on purpose, you are a complete jackass.

I've done it on accident at least once that I can recall. I'm sure it happens often, sometimes when a webpage is loading, it's jumping around, and i have accidently clicked my own ad like this. Never heard anything about it and I'm not sure if they deducted it.

Lots of you guys must be doing it, because my AdWords account sees more than a dozen invalid clicks a day. No wonder so many accounts are being closed.

Google does not close adsense just for invalid clicks. I get tons,
yes TONS, of invalid clicks. If you do a lot of adsense, you
get accidental, curious, oops, laptop and smartphone sweeping,
etc. Example, yesterday I had 8 for certain. But I probably
      lost track.

Image ads are prone to invalid/accidental clicks. If you have
a skyscraper on the right side, you are prone.

You people just go gaga because you don't get enough
      real clicks.

Most people don't even know they get invalid clicks.
It passes google like milk of magnesia.

      I know on a lot of days because I am a adsense-phobe.
I check my adsense stats all the friggin time, make note
of clicks and money, etc. I am more apt to know when
I get an invalid click, at least while I'm checking.

But here's the thing. I wake up to $20 on 15 clicks. Now,
how many of those 15 clicks were valid? You never know.

Click fraud is what people morph into. Not just an invalid
      click.
