The right way to choose a domain name

Hi,
After I've a successfully website with a good ranking and have fulfilled my goal, but with one exception that my website is in an Asian country [Thailand] and that is one of the major problem because Adword pays very low for us as a publisher so the CPC for adsense what I'm getting is very low like 0.05$ per click.
I can't really complain about that after I did all the research why it is so low, and I did everything to bring up my CPC and the most I did was just 0.09$ and that doesn't really help much for the future.
So I come up with an idea for myself to actually start doing a post in English [My another website I post in Thai language] which really going to improve all that if I still follow the rule whatever I applied to my current website and maybe put some more efforts about it. Like doing a keyword research [Which I'm not good at it at all.] and all that would help me to get more traffics.
Now come to the point, My current Thai website domain name is AppleSiam.com so by the domain can right away tell that this website is about Apple and it is locate in a "Siam" country which is a former name of "Thailand"
What is really a trouble for me and I believe for many newbie as well is to choose the right and the best domain name for your website.
So I did a research a bit and found that one website suggested that "12 rules for Choosing the right Domain Name"

[I'm having a problem with this one really]

Now we can see that the rules is simple to follow, but from #1 is really a tough one since I'm not really good at keyword research.
All I know that my website I'm going to write about tech stuff. Like Apple, Google web [Not android though, maybe sometime update the news, but not about their phone], and you know about jailbreak stuff, Windows, but mainly about Apple products and jailbreak.
How can I come up with some good keyword for whatever I'm looking at above info?
