Google Adsense Dashboard Earnings, Which one should I believed?

Hello I'm new in adsense, I want to ask why is there difference amount of earning on top of "estimated earning" and below there "top channels"

on the top its said I've got $6.49 this month so far, but when I goes down there and select the "This Month" on Top channels, the amount showing are $2.22. I only still use one blog to advertise adsense, so yes there's only one channel.

I'd hover the "?" mark on right side of "Earning and changes". It's said maybe the today earning not accounted yet. But even it's not counted, then I do the math, (month so far) $6.49 - (today so far) $2.41 = it's still left me with $4.08. So why it's showing only $2.22 down there. Could someone explains? And which amount should I believed? Because when we open google adsense dashboard the main highlight of earning is showing on the top. If it's not the earning that we gonna got, I would feel cheated, I would feel google gave me false hope. And since I'm new, I really don't get the logic why google shows you two different earning amounts, with one higher & one lower.
