Which Domain To Use To Rank In Google

It is/was a valid strategy to post a Hub on Hubpages, a Lens on Squidoo or an article on EzineArticles and then build backlinks to it.

The concept is to use the authority of the domain and then get your page ranked and guide the traffic to your landing page whether it is for list building or sales.

I would like to know what is perceived as the best domain to be doing that with in todays post BS seo world?

It looks like YouTube and Squidoo are strong...

Youtube allllllll the way for this method

Facebook fan page wouldn't be a terrible idea either

i use Facebook fan page with notes. notes are equal to "sales pages" :p and build backlinks to them.

  You are absolutely right Ernie. The article sites have also taken a huge hit and so they are not as valuable as they use to be.
  
  I don't think sites like YouTube and Facebook are going to go anywhere but I would not build on an unknown site that is loosing speed.
