    If they are contextual then it will be 100 links. If its a signature and you do 100 posts then its just the 1 link.

    100 post with your signature or anchor text will be count as 100 backlinks.Otherwise no link will be counted.

    They may and may not be counted as the backlinks for the website. If all the contextual backlinks comes from different pages of forum, they may get counted as 100 backlinks.

    One link if they're sig links.

    I wouldn't really focus on forums as a way to build backlinks though. Instead, use them to drive VERY targeted traffic to your site and build relationships with other people interested in your niche(s).

    Forum links are some of the worst along with blog comments and probably won't rank you highly for anything worthwhile. I would look into buying cheap links before posting links on forums- especially here.

      I must disagree with this broad statement.
      Forums are some of the back links you will ever get for brand awareness as long as you're contributing high-value to the community. Now if you specify SEO value it is greatly lower than other strategies.

    Well, it would be counted as 100 but IP address is also counted so solid link would be one.
