    • Thank you for you infomation
    • cool trick buddy.
    • That is great advice, and Scrapebox is good for finding high quality blogs to comment on.
    • I tried using this trick, but it does not works always, and I have to use my own ways for searching high PR links.
    • Is there a way to specify your subject/ niche, so you can find a relevant place to get involved?

      Thanks.
  • Scrapebox.

You can scrape and check a ton of URLs for PageRank and a lot of other valuable metrics like OBL's, if the sites are open/closed for comments.

    I recommend checking it out.

    • but it is paid tool...

is any free tool available who can help to find the list of blogs ?
  • Do you own scrapebox if not you have got to get it to simplify your work.

A lot of people actually think this tool is meant for spamming but that is not true, Scrapebox have a lot of functionalities i am yet to find in any IM tool out there.

You can scrape thousands of blogs.
    Check page rank
    Check outbound links
    Check for malware
    Check for do follow
Check for blogs open for comment and so on.

    • An alternative to ScrapeBox and doing the checking manually is Traffic Travis. Go to "Search Engine Tools", add a new project and you can check a website's pages for high PR ones.
  • I don't have a scrapebox. I want to make links manually. What is the best idea?

  • even i need few idea on this for my photography blog is scrapebox is free to use
  • yep scrapebox is a great bit of kit!!

Use it correctly and it will help you know end :-)

the tool is not a spam tool the user is the spammer :-)
  • The BEST way is to search for the terms your trying to rank for and look for any chance you can to drop a comment and get a link from pages that rank and hold relevance for that term...sometimes they will have PR, sometimes they won't but the links will ROCK.

I do recommend ScrapeBox for adding a degree of automation to the above, you'll get more links in less time and can quickly filter by PR if your hung up on that (don't be).
  • If you want an easier way to find blogs with high PR, there are paid automated tools available on the internet like the fast blog finder.
  • I'll give you 100 for $10 just saying
  • Visit dropmylink(dot)com and type-in your niche keyword in the box, you'll find loads of good PR blogs over there. I don't really know of any resource other than this. I don't normally focus on dofollow sites exclusively; I hope you don't either.

  • So basically, "search for high PR backlink sources."

    • Get a browser addon. There are plenty for both Chrome and Firefox that will display the PR of the page & domain you're viewing.
  • Show me the way or provide me some PDF,so that i can learn it.
  • keyword +”Enable Commentluv”
    “powered by Disqus” + “keyword”

    • You can search many blogs here: dropmylink dot com , also you can use scrapebox.
    • Scrapebox would help big-time here by letting you search for thousands of keywords at once using these footprints.
  • usually I do have 2 things
    1. blogwalking
    2. use the services in Fiverr
  • Check out blog directories. I don't comment on blogs much anymore. Nearly every backlink is nofollow from one and few readers will actually see them if the blog doesn't get much traffic. I have used Scrapebox though and I really like it.

  • Any ways to find good PR blog that allows you to post comments on their home page?
A lot of them allows comments but not necessarily shows on the home page.
    • [1] reply
    • Most blogs either have a static homepage (without comments), or a list of recent posts which frequently rotates. So you're going to have a hard time finding what you're looking for.

  • I have purchased scrapebox and i would like to say it is great tool for find High pr backlinks and make blog comments on them.. if we use this tool wisely then it is best tool in blog commenting..

    • That's the key. A lot of people still just blindly spam away - hoping that a few links stick. Which is pretty much the opposite of how it should be used.
  • Remember that you have to get also low PR links so your link pattern looks more natural.
  • You can drop my link tool for blog comments sites.Search in Google "drop my link". Where you can find do follow and high PR relevant sites.
  • simplest way is just to Google 'do follow links high page rank' or variations on that. you'll tonnes of sites with lists of sites/directories/blogs that you can post links on.

One thing to be wary of though is Wordpress blogs as the default setting links on Wordpress is 'no follow'

    Hope this helps.

  • Or use scrapebox - don't spam using scrapebox though. It's just a tool in your SEO arsenal.
  • Very nice. I've been using dropmylink for a while. Now I just google my keyword(s), set the search for 'blogs' and results 'within the last week'. That usually gives you a set of websites that still have posts that still have traffic going to them. Not every blog has commenting, but it also keeps you informed in your niche!

    • I do this via Scrapebox. You can plug in a few thousand niche-related keywords, tick the Google box, and set it to search for posts within the past 24 hours, and search. Then I just run the posts through a DoFollow / "open for comments" check when it's done. Usually end up with a few hundred recent posts if I use enough keywords.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I have built a dofollow blog checker. It is very easy to use and it also lists sites that other people have found.

  • Very helpful guys. Is it very important to find blogs within your field or not? Because I'm in the service field and most every blog in this field is low ranking and might not ever be approved! Hahaha. Any suggestions on what blogs I should go after and how?
  • If you use scrapebox, I suggest getting good Proxies. Finding free ones is so time consuming.

    Good luck!

    • The only issue with this is that you're going to get a ton of outdated lists that have been hammered to death by the thousands of people who have already tried to use them.

When it comes to auto approve blogs, it's best to either build lists for yourself, or purchase a list that isn't going to be sold a million times.
  • Well you can check out the following site. It's really good one and helped me a lot

  • Guys,

So does Blog commenting (say 10-20 a day) actually work post Penguin? Theres a few saying it does and a few that say it doesnt.

What doe everyone think, does blog commenting still work? and if so then what must you do to make sure it works?
    • [2] replies
    • Yes, it still work.and work great! From my experienced, comment backlinks from related niche sites are more powerful than random sites.
    • Yes, as long as you're doing it right by leaving legitimate comments on high quality sites. (DoFollow, PR1 or higher, etc.)

And niche-related can help bring in additional traffic if they're popular blogs.

  • I always use scrapebox to locate my targets but then I always post manually to keep it within most of the guide lines.
  • Search in Google using these search strings.

    - "keyword phrase"+inurl:blog site:.edu
    - "keyword phrase"+inurl:blog site:.gov
    - site:.edu inurl:blog "keyword phrase"
    - site:.gov+wp-admin
    - site:.gov+blog
    - site:.gov+comment.php
    - site:.gov+"submit site"
    - site:.gov+"submit your site"
    - site:.gov+"add url"
    - site:.edu inurl:blog "keyword" "comment"
    - site:gov - "you must be logged in" -"comment closed"
    - site:edu - "you must be logged in" -"comment closed"

  • You can visit this site dropmylink.com
    - enter the keyword
    - select the type of website - .edu, .gov, keyworkluv, commentluv etc from the drop down list.
    - click search.
You will get a whole list of dofollow websites/blogs with keywordluv or commentluv plugins, based on the option you choose from the drop down list.

  • I can see that many of you guys are suggesting about this tool named scapebox to assist us in blog commenting. I am planning to buy this software in the weekend. Does anyone can tell me if how many blog comments should I make per day?
    • [1] reply
    • I wouldn't use Scrapebox to comment. Instead, I'd use it to find posts with PR, DoFollow posts, etc, to manually comment on. I'd rather leave legitimate comments on 10 PR1+ posts vs blindly blasting thousands of blogs with junk comments.
  • Is scrapebox really worth it?
    • [1] reply
    • Definitely. Just don't use it to comment & point links @ your main site.

And it's got a ton of other useful features in addition to the blog commenter.
  • If I were you, I would use ScrapeBox. I would find the blogs and post the comments MANUALLY!!!
