Best Type Of Theme For Adsense Site

I am about to start building my first adsense site and am curious, there are so many wordpress themes out there and I am not sure what is the best for a adsense site. Should I go with the real pretty and fancy theme that is designed around the topic of the keyword I use for example if I was doing a site designed around baby care should I have a theme that is real appealing to the eyes about babies or should it be bland with high quality articles and a bunch of adsense advertising? I also was curious is it should be set up in a blog style and have social media like buttons or just be plain Jain content and ads?

      I agree I eclusively use the Magazine Basic theme and have nothign but good luck with it. It's a great versatile theme.

    All of those so called 'highg CTR' themes are bull****. I tried them all and nothing, CTR didn't raise up a bit.
    Because your CTR mostly depends about your site niche, and not the theme.

    Forgot to add - that's measured by avg CTR across all the properties. I've seen 2-3% increase, on average 6-7% (across all properties).

    Build a large dataset when comparing, otherwise the numbers might be misleading.

    For a cheap out of the box solution I'd go with Clickbump though for me nothing beats a custom tailored theme.

      Niche Website Theme

      I have also successfully used CTR Theme, Prosense, EvoLve, Gensis, and Heatmap Theme for my niche sites.

        Themes don't help that much, almost any theme will work. what you need is a high CTR adsense plugin that is able to randomize ad location, like this one: All in One Adsense

          I never see anyone say this so have wondered if I am the only one who thought this was true

          Granted I did not buy a plugin, I did code into the template though so it changes ad location and sizes. I love the results.

    What theme you use doesn't really matter for Adsense. Sure, a dodgy theme with 3 Adsense units at the top in place of a header, article title and a menu might get you a higher CTR, but that's just bad business (if you are thinking long term that is).

    Flexibility 3 is really flexible and free as well. Good theme for a start if you do not want to spend money on a theme.
